# changelog
What's new
- Notarized by Apple: the download opens without the security warning.
- Updates install themselves: Swarm checks for new versions and offers Install and Restart. Each update must carry Swarm’s release signature; your sessions keep running.
- New app icon: the Hive. The 0.1.0 download still had the old one.
- A color you give a session now shows in the sidebar too, not just on its tab.
- swarm:// links open launch configurations in Swarm.
- Check for Updates… reads new releases from swarm-term.com, so it works while the repository is private.
- Persistent sessions: tabs keep running when you close the window, quit the app or restart the daemon, and reopen with their output and blocks.
- Remote hosts over your own ssh setup, Linux or macOS. Swarm installs its daemon there and reconnects after sleep and network drops.
- The app: a session sidebar, one panel per session, split panes, a Swarm theme and system fonts, built on Warp’s open-source engine.
- In-place updates: running sessions move to a new version of their session process without restarting.
- Scrollback: 16 MB per session in memory, with optional encrypted spill to disk (swarmd spill on).
- swarmctl: ls, new, attach, rename, info, dump, kill and rm, locally or with --host.
